Michael Bronski (born May 12, 1949) is an American academic and writer, best known for his 2011 book ''A Queer History of the United States''.〔("How Gays Helped Make and Remake America" ). ''Slate'', May 23, 2011.〕 A professor at Dartmouth College, he currently teaches in the women's and gender studies department,〔("Professor Michael Bronski Wins Prestigious Stonewall Book Award" ). ''Dartmouth Now'', February 23, 2012.〕 and also teaches courses in LGBT history and Jewish studies at both Dartmouth and Harvard University.
